    • D3 Workshop: Taught by Chris Given, awesome data visualizer with Code for DC. Be there at 6:30, we’ll start the workshop just after project intros. Javascript experience not required, but we will be writing Javascript code. Read this chapter beforehand to be familiar with some basic Javascript and SVG syntax.
    • Prototype testing: We’ll be testing Prototype #1 with Peter Tatian from the Urban Institute. This will happen after the workshop concludes, at about 8:15.

    • Neal will be teaching a ~45 minute workshop on using Git and Github. We’ll focus on the basics that someone new to Git would need to contribute to a project that users a forking workflow (like ours!). Workshop will start after intros. Approximate agenda: 6:30 - 7:00 arrival and socializing, 7:00-7:15 announcements, 7:15-8:00 Git workshop, 8:00-9:00 optional Git workshop/activity (or join a project team).
